Sometimes, an image doesn't need that many words. I could write loads of different articles about this picture, but I think the sheer image of the American-Mexican border in the Tijuana-San Diego Metropolitan Area suffices to explain a thing or two about the local conditions...
P.S.: If it isn't clear: left is the USA, right is Mexico...
