Near Medellin in Columbia, there's a weird looking rock standing out in the middle of the landscape. This solitary rock is called "Piedra del Peñol", or "El Peñol". Since the rock is shaped the way it is, it would normally be impossible to climb it - it's too steep and slick. But, in crack in the rock, staircases are inserted to get to the top. I bet the view from the top is stunning, but the view from the ground is not probably just as great.
